We are located in West Oakland in the Lower Bottoms/Prescott neighborhood. Just a few blocks away from the Oakland Ballers stadium at Raimondi Park, Prescott Market, and the West Oakland Farmers market. Lots of amazing businesses near by! Our address is: 1314 Wood St. Oakland, CA 94601.

Our stylists are independent artists that create their own schedules. Management is typically in salon Tuesday-Friday. Check with your artist of choice to see what their availability is.

We service EVERYONE! We mean it when we say we are a salon for ALL hair types and ALL human rights. We want our clients to be themselves & feel comfortable. We have zero tolerance for any racism, sexism, homophobia.. Anything even close to it is not welcome here!

We understand the independent stylist concept can be confusing, but it allows more freedom for the artist!

To have a smooth service with your stylist arrive on time, check their prep emails/procedures, and plan to attend your appointment with no extra guests. It is also best not to be on a strict time limit as hair can have unpredictable timing. At the studio we do offer beverages & light snacks. We recommend you arrived nourished, especially if you have a long appointment ahead.

Comfy clothes are helpful! No clothes with large collars, clothes you aren’t worried about potentially getting color stains on, and making sure you have a shirt on under any hoodies. We do offer robes at the studio just incase you need to change.

We love the babies! Half of the team are parents as well so we get it! While we understand things happen, please try to find child care before your appointment. We want you to be able to relax during your time in the studio. It can be challenging for stylists to work on clients tending to their babies.

Please check with the stylist you’re interested if they are accepting children as clients. All children need to be accompanied by an adult to be seen.
